Personal Data Collection Agreement

According to the Personal Data Protection Act of Taiwan, TrueLight (hereinafter as TL) issues its statement of personal data protection and collection agreement to notify you of your responsibilities and rights and solicit your consent to the collection, processing and use of your personal data by TL. Your following online inquiry indicates that you have read, understood and accepted the contents set forth in this agreement and are willing to exercise the right of consent given by law in the form of an electronic document with the effect of written consent.

Declaration Before Personal Data Collection

To protect your personal information, privacy and rights, we will only use your personal information during the service process. You are informed of the following matters in accordance with Article 8 of the Personal Data Protection Act of Taiwan:

1. Purpose and method of collection

The purpose of collection in this activity is for our customer relationship management, consumer protection, marketing and internal statistical investigation and analysis. The collection methods include such ways as digital, telephone, paper or fax registration.

2. Classification of collected personal information

Personal information collected by the company at the time of registration includes the identification of individuals: i.e. name, address, phone number, email, etc.

3. Use period, region, object and method

Period: During the operation of TL.
Region: Your personal data will be used in Taiwan.

Methods: Collected personal information of yours will be used in visitor management and the search functions managed by TL. It will be also used in your inquiry replying.

4. Rights for your own personal data

You may request to review, read, duplicate, supplemented, correct, stop collecting /processed /utilized, or delete by calling TL to exercise any of the aforementioned rights.
